Great news for our Members!

The Federal Reserve Board recently announced an interim final rule to amend Regulation D. This ruling does away with the six-per-month limit on convenient transfers from non-transaction accounts during the COVID-19 crisis. Freestone Credit Union has suspended the six transfer limit and is now allowing our members to make an unlimited number of transfers and withdrawals from their savings accounts. While we are hopeful this will be a permanent change, the rule is currently just an interim one, meaning that they may intend to replace it with something more permanent later in time. Please feel free to call one of our staff members with any questions. Regulation D affects your ability to withdraw funds from a savings account.
